The GPU Radar

About The GPU Radar

Should you buy now or wait for the next GPU generation?

The GPU Radar is an independent resource that tracks release cycles and deal windows for every major desktop GPU — across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel.

Why we built this

The GPU market moves in generation cycles of roughly 20–28 months, with tiered rollouts within each generation — flagships first, mid-range next, budget last. Knowing when to buy — and whether a clearance-priced previous generation card offers better value than a new launch — is genuinely non-obvious.

We answer these questions systematically: tracking release dates, computing cycle percentages, identifying generation-end value windows, and surfacing the best seasonal deal opportunities for each brand.
